Milling Barn is privately located within 40 acres of grounds and is easily accessible from local churches, crematoriums and cemeteries making it the perfect venue for your celebration of life event.

The team at Milling Barn understand that organising a celebration of life, funeral reception, wake or farewell party can be a very difficult time. The venue is only available on a exclusive use basis, so your privacy is guaranteed. The most important element of a celebration of life event is to spend time with family and friends. Our experienced team will guide you through the event, and you can relax in the knowledge that they will take care of everything on the day.

We will be pleased to discuss your exact requirements and, if required, produce a bespoke menu for you. We can accommodate from 30 – 250 people within the main barns and room layouts can be arranged to suit your requirements.

  • "From the moment we first visited we knew that this venue was the one for us. The venue is just so pretty it doesn’t need loads of decorations.
    We were assigned Niamh as our wedding planner and she was great from start to finish and especially on the day, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and make sure you’re at ease.
    The day went seamlessly and it was everything we had wished for and more!
    The food was amazing and so was the breakfast in the morning.
    The only downside was that the accommodation, some of the rooms didn’t have mugs and some essentials, none of the rooms had hot water in the taps and other than the honeymoon suit, all of the rooms have a green light that was so bright some of our guests couldn’t sleep.
    Overall we loved our wedding, we definitely chose the right venue for us and we want to do it all over again!
